If Rogue or UUC aren't developing an X3 short shifter, then try B&M. They are located in the San Fernando Valley, and they host the general BMWCCA meetings occasionally. If enough people request an X3 product, maybe they'll add it to their development list. Free shifter for whoever's truck is used for R&D. Here's the link:

I don't know if you've checked out eBay seller Roveractive; they sell alot of new X3 parts from Germany.

Mad props on your X3 again.

Looks great! How'd you get just your angel eyes on without any other lights? Is that how US X3's are wired? I wish my X5 could do that!

I have the angel eyes wired to the accessory power. They light up when the key is turned to the second position. They are also wired to the interior lights so they fade on and off when you lock and unlock the X.

Thanks for the compliments mike. I have already contacted Rogue and UUC. Both are no gos. I will give B&M a try. Hopefully after 3 full years of production, there will be more performace parts for the X. For now, I might have to settle for a shorter weight knob. However, I can't seem to part with my illuminated ///M shift knob. I wonder when BMW will finally make a weighted ///M knob that is also illuminated. Mybe I'll buy the E46 zhp shift knob and try to retrofit the LED inside.

They aren't true euro headlights. I couldn't justify spending $1500 on a set of new euro housing just for clear corners. So this is what I did. I removed the yellow reflector and spray painted it with some reflective silver paint. Looks just as good as oem.
