If I were to trade in my X3........

Just a thought I have been having lately.......I love my X3 and I have not had it for that long, but I really like the new 3 series models. I tend to keep my cars for 2 years. If I traded in my X3 with what I owe on it I would still be able to put like 10,000 down on another model.......or should I lease. I am just looking for educated opinions since you guys are the experts. I know I should just do what I want, but I am only tossing the idea around at this point.

I would test drive the 330XI and see what you think...at least you're getting the 255hp

Starts at $38,500

What expert advice are you seeking? Do you want guidance on buying vs leasing, or on whether or not to get an e90, or both?

i had a 330xi as a loaner recently and wasn't all
that impressed. don't get me wrong. it's a beautiful
car and all, but the automatic shifting just felt notchy.
switching gears didn't seem all that smooth to me.

all of this might be due to the fact that i have a 4.6is
though. i don't know.

I cannot see myself letting go of the X3 anytime soon, I just get that itch to drive other cars every now and again.

I've driven my friend's new 325i and wasn't impressed either. And before that I've driven it on a test drive, wasnt in love with it either. It's a great car, but it just doesnt have the "gotta have it" factor BMWs used to have.

If I had to replace the X, it'd be with almost any E46 3-series, preferably the 330i/ci ZHP or 330ci.

huh?

Yall I just got mine and you straight trippin if you think a 3 series can beat a X3. I take on a 3 series off the block any day of the week.
I even read the posts about the Xs being a girli girls cars and yo I hope everybodys not jumpin ship now.
Go drive the 3s but on't buy them, theyr smaller and I knopw my boys would laugh if I rolled up in one of the 3.
