x3 Wheel Discussion

I'm starting my search for new wheels for my x3 - black sapphire metallic. For a while I only liked chrome wheels but now I think I'm in to black with chrome.

Here's the question: Do you guys think this looks good on a bmw or does it make the car look less classy? I want to modify my exterior as it already has an aerodynamic kit and the m-trimmings but I don't want my car to look too ghetto.

Any thoughts, ideas? Chrome, polish, black, black n chrome?

All thoughts welcome.

Thank you

I have chrome wheels for my summer shoes, and I think as long as they're pretty darn close to looking as if they're stock then it's OK. I wrestled with the same question myself, as I thought chrome would be a bit too "blingy" or ostentatious, but they actually look pretty good! I went with 17" style 130 and am satisfied. I haven't found any wheels for my x3 that I really love yet. I've been looking online at black with chrome and just chrome.

When I had a 330 I went with chrome m3 wheels and I loved them. I'm just not feeling anything for what I find in the x3 whee's.

My car is snow/salt filthy right now so I'm not going to pic her looking like that.

alpine rasta - your car looks nice and shiny, still classy. I'm thinking just going chrome is the way ... not the chrome and black.
