X3 noisy turn signal
I find the turn signal "clicking" noise a little loud on my 2006 X3 when waiting at a red light, especially when the radio is off. I know, this is personal taste, but on some days, I wouldn't mind having it a little quieter, somewhat like my Honda. Can this relay be replaced or did someone find a way to isolate the sound a bit ? Not a big deal, but I thought I might ask, thanks in advance for your suggestions. Larry |

Might want to top off your blinker fluid.
![]() Sorry couldn't resist. The signal in my Honda is much quieter as well, but I've gotten use to/kinda like the sound the X makes FWIW.

At least you won't be one of those people driving around with their blinker on all day.

I hate how a lot of American cars have it all silent. I've driven rentals with quiet blinkers, and I'll tell you it's very easy to forget esp. if you're having a conversation or have the radio on. |

Press and hold the music symbol on the radio while pressing and holding all 4 window switches down. With the other hand point your finger at the speedo and click your heals twice. That will keep you busy long enough to figure out you have to much time on your hands. There's always something but I think this is a first.

Funny, I never thought it was too loud. Never bothered me at all. In fact, I wish they'd make the ones in Ford pickups louder...
