Need your opinions

I have a 07 X3 - only 5,000 kms. The A/C fan squeals when the vehicle is slightly off centre like when you brake or on a hill - not real loud but loud enough to be annoying.

Do I take it in to the dealer for a fix? My concern is that the dealer rips apart the dash - replaces the fan and then the dash squeeks from then on.

Anyone had this repair done? What was the outcome?

Not much faith in the dealer HUH.

My guess is that you take it in and get
it fixed. That's what the warranty is for.

If it squeeks take it back and they can fix that too.
But unless the dealer is incompetent i believe things
should work out fine.

No, I totally understand what you mean. That's the main reason I didnt get the pass airbag/mat replaced, or the self-disappearing dash lights replaced.

If it truly bothers you, then take it in. Otherwise, live with that. Of course, my friends don't have the greatest image in their minds when they see the "pass airbag off" light on, but oh well.
