Just as I thought. You may want to talk with your dealer about goodwill warranty repair. Its something that allows dealers to extend "full" warranty coverage to a customer for goodwill with a future business opportunity. There is a TSB for it, look it up in the bimmerfest, your delaer will know about it but still take a print with you.
