Yeah I have that in mind but also what I thought about was even in the X series class that BMW runs they put them in some challenging situations that they handle rather well so I know that they are indeed a car, but they are definitely designed to tackle some less severe offroad applications, Im just not sure if the tires will be up to it.

Well, if you're going into a muddy part where traction will be an issue, press the DSC button to allow more wheel spin before intervention then just keep the RPMs up and don't let off. You want some speed to give you enough momentum to help get you past it, but don't want to be going too fast naturally. Oversimplified summary: press the button, press the gas, hold on!

yeahp, im aware of the DTC/ DSC off feature i'm sure that will be a big help in the muddy sections. Well we will see how it does and after the trip I will post how it handled it and if I can get friends to take some pics/video I will post them up as well. Thanks guys!

All good advice above. As Weasel says, in the muddy sections disable the stability control and use momentum. If the mud is really bad you can drop some air out of the tyres provided you have some way of pumping them up again. Those portable 12-volt compressors are handy.
For the rocky stuff, go as slow and as carefully as you can. Any sort of speed on the rocky stuff can quickly lead to permanent tyre damage such as a pinched or gashed sidewall. If any particular section looks tricky, stop the car (only on solid ground) and walk that section of the trail to work out the best 'line' to take.
