Dead battery, little scared

So I had to empty my washer fluid, just sat there are let the little bit left in the reservoir go by spraying it on the windshield for a few minutes. As I'm about to turn the car off, the ABS, 4x4, and airbag light come on. The battery is also dead since the car won't start and keeps clicking. I'm going to jumpstart it, but is everything else ok? Have i toasted something in the electrical system, or is this a symptom of a normal dead battery?

Thanks for any help, a little freaked out right now.

When my battery was low from sitting too long, I got the DSC, ABS and check engine lights. I put the X on a battery tender and once the battery was charged up, all the lights went away.

If the OP doesn't have a batt tender, be sure to jump start carefully, using the lug connections under the hood, pos to pos first, then neg from car to other car/source, with car(s) off. Remove neg, then pos after jumping. And, a simple drive may not recharge your jumped battery.

How to jump...I realize it's basic 101 stuff, but many people are very careless when jumping; a good friend had a batt explode in his face, thus my caution.

^ Good advice.

In addition, parts stores like Advance Auto, Autozone, etc. will charge the battery for free. All you have to do is leave it with them for a day. They will also let you know if it is too low to hold a charge.

Well jump started and all lights went out instantly, except for 4x4. After a short drive the 4x4 went away as well, thanks all for the advice and help!
