The design must immediately say this is still an X3 (it does) and it must not be the most flashy design in the X family. I now think they are just about perfect.

Is it noticeably different in person? I've only seen camo'ed ones testing by Furman, and that was only once... I guess luck of the draw.

I think that even the color could make it... The M-Sport pics in white actually look pretty good.

Any big diesel would be sweet... Back to reality and looking for another E90.

Yuck! The exterior is horrid. What is with that plastic bumper trim? Design FAIL

The Q5 looks far better in nearly every way except the engine (The 35i should be awesome)

On a side note the interior is a huge improvement

The plastic is there so people who can't stand it like you and me, will spend the extra cash on the M-sport package.

I am with you, except the the new X3 Msport does look better than the Q5.

Plus the Q5 engine is an epic failure.

When can we expect real life pics of the M-sport package?

Agree on all points - surprised they went back with the plastic bumper again after graduating to body color. But at least they gave it the rear aero-kit look to compensate. With the right exterior color, it'd look pretty good.

Always liked the Q5 looks. I got to autocross it as well as take it on the streets at an audi event when they first came out - it felt really stiff... not in a good way. They did have all the gadgets though... blind-spot warning and all. MMI was also better than idrive at the time.

The Q5 needs an engine update and for that matter so do most Audi products. The one shining spot is the 3.0TDI. That is a stunning engine in the Q5 and we should have it for '11

If thats the same 3.0 twin TDI that is hot in France then thats a good car.

In other news, I saw a real live F25 tonight. Its not THAT bad. Still had badge camo.

We won't be seeing any pics like the non M-sport models, prior to them hitting the showroom?
