why not get the measurements of the actual underride guard? i'm sure the exact dimensions can be found

I suggested this but he said to do it right he really needs the car in front of him for a day or two. I guess measuring and being about to visualize it with the car their are different things. Definitely not a stupid question - its what I originally suggested too.
