The link below is an excellent DIY retrofit guide and will show which wires to look for to determine if your X is pre-wired for PDC. Good luck!

I did the retrofit on my 2001. The hardest part was cutting the holes in the bumpers. I got all components (8 sensors, console switch assembly, PDC module, rear sounder and rear bumper wiring harness) with exception of the sensor trims and mounts off ebay and ordered the trims and mounts from tischer. Due to the option level on mine it was prewired. Just had to release and route the front sensor wires, install the console switch assembly, release rear sounder wire and install sounder, plug in and install the module, plug in and route the rear sensor harness. Facelift models have different front corner sensors so make sure to note that when sourcing parts.

Thank you for reply! Do you know, by any chance, if PDC modules are the same for facelift?

I have not personally confirmed if the parts are interchangeable for functionality but I can confirm that they are 2 different part numbers. Physically, if I recall correctly, the older ones have one each blue, white and black connectors on the module and the newer ones are all black but somehow recall that the connectors are the same for both.
