Having helluva time with rear sun shade removal

Hi all,
Tryin to repair my right rear door carrier. I have exhaustively tried to get the dayum vertical triangular sun shade off and it will NOT budge. I have looked in there and the clip is FULLY DISENGAGED from it(I am lifting clip UP!), but it STILL won't come off. Did they glue a few of these things on to piss off someone??

Does anybody have any tips or tricks for me to try, other than ripping the dang thing off?!?!?!

Thanks for any help or advice!!!
