Questions for those who have aftermarket head units and rear view camera setup......

Hi I just purchased a Eonon head unit and trying to figure out the best location to put a rear view camera. I purchased a tail light camera but doesn't fit and was thinking of getting one that I can drill into the side next to the factory tail light but how off would that be located in that area? Ive even considered the license plate frame types but figured I ask on here for recommendations from people who have it on there car now.

Also wanted to see if anyone had any pointers or helpful tips on installation of the eonon units? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
