Update/Confirmation?
Looked up ZF 5HP24 fill plug specifications and downloaded ZF's pdf on the whole trans. It shows the fill and drain to be M18x1.5 Seems like it's easily replaceable (even... *gulp* Pepboys has something with a magnet attached to it). Has anyone replaced the plugs with something other than OEM? Can't imagine it causing any issues. Figure it'll be easier to service later on with common tools though not like hex isn't uncommon but something easier to get a socket on there since there isn't much room for the fill.

Apparently according to the pdf, the drain and fill plugs are NOT the same. one's a M16x1.5 and the other is M18x1.5
