Hello, my name is Nat.

It seems like someone painted them black then silver over it.... it looks like crap! Its on the "TO DO LIST" The Navigation is not working " DVD disc not reading? hopefully someone will help me figure it out. Some pixels missing on the LCD screen. That's about it!

Welcome to the family of 4.8is owners. There are a few of V8 owners in the area. Many meet up at either at Katie's in Great Falls on Saturday early mornings or at Kohl's at Fair Lakes. I am live and work in N. Arlington if you are ever in the area stop by for coffee and a chat about our favorite brand of vehicles. Most weekends you can find a few of us "bending a wrench" or two on maintenance or updates, so watching & learning is always great male bonding.
 There is a TON of info in the Forum, just browse through the Articles tab at the top of the site for lots of DIY tips and tricks. Do you plan on a DIY path for repairs or a pay as you go path with a dealer or BMW Indy? I think all the 4.8is have the flares front and rear as part of the package.
