From frog to princess (build thread)

Hi all

This is a "light" build thread, where I will try to explain what I have been doing with my e53 since I bought her.
I still have not made any big change but... we will see

I found her in a second hand dealer in Spain. I visited her and found a low mileage engine (143k km/89k miles), with a reasonable body (repainted from dark green to black) with some nasty bits like the rotten tail pipes.



And a horrible black fabric interior. Driver´s seat was in very bad shape. And the steering wheel leather sewing was missing :-(



The front headlights were almost fully blind (in the picture they do not look so bad though, anyway they were very very bad looking)


Anyway I test drove it and found it good enough for the price (5,5k €) So I bought her and took her home.

Specs :
-BMW e53
-Manual transmission (5speed)
-M54 engine (230hp)
-17inch alloy wheels
