Hello, All!

This is my first post...though I have been lurking since I bought my first X5 4 months ago. The second X5 joined the family a couple of weeks ago, and is the subject of this post.

This vehicle lives in Arizona, but was originally sold without the pusher fan.
Needless to say, I felt it should have one since it will be 110 degrees out for the next few months.

Long story short...after a battle, it is installed. This required trimming the bottom edge of the pusher shroud by an inch or so, as the cooler protrudes into it. I have pics if interested.

Now, the catch!

There is no wiring in place to make the fan functional. I assumed it would be there, much like the CD changer wiring. I'm not sure what to do. I'm NOT a fan of cutting into the original wiring.

Any thoughts?
