That is crazy all this work and search to be able to carry a bike rack. I think I might end up buying an explorer as an extra truck and wait till I find all the parts

I don't remember where I learned this but the bumper carrier (part #1) is different for the tow bar. I believe it is the European model. Had to do with clearance to the bar.
