X5 trailer hitch OEM BMW

I had the opportunity to buy an OEM used BMW hitch. My question to everyone do anyone have an exploded diagram for the vehicles that are equipped with a trailer hitch. Wondering what parts do I need and I am not able to see the whole picture.

Anybody know a good junkyard that might carry German cars in NJ or PA?
Maybe I can find the parts.

What you have pictured is what BMW call left support and right support. The only reference in the BMW instructions is to part c and d. They likely weren't put into the BMW parts system, just the top level kit, the wiring module, and the instructions, since the hitch is an aftermarket accessory, and not a supported vehicle part.

Take a look at the instructions for more details.

The mounts/bumper brackets are shown in the attached drawing and link, as item #3.

Interesting that there is only one bumper carrier shown (Item #1, the metal piece inside the plastic bumper). When I installed my hitch kit on the E53, I had to change the carrier to a new one to match the mounting brackets (which had a different location than the original shocks). I know the kit was updated at one point, with spacers behind the brackets (also referenced in the instructions linked above) but I don't know if the carrier changed or not. Make sure they match up if you are assembling this from parts; the difference is in the fore/aft location.
