It's been years since I've seen a blurb-mention of Maritime trim
I haven't got it yet, but according to BMW Frankfurter Ring, you can order them on regular way. Still the central console trim alone costs 970 euro.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough

Nick considering you are the king of this board having an MT swapped 4.6, it does fit your truck nicely. Even if it is a "boating" trim

LOL, thanks! I've started to rebuild the whole car allready. I spent damn 1.5 years to build pulleys for tooth belt driven supercharger, the other issue were the god damn german automotive authorities which are existing only to ban everything and to make you normal and decent.

Hopefully will post some dyno videos etc in nearest feature. Will also repaint the car in Atlantis Blue metallic. There will be alot of things to report soon, I hope.

Adding more black will create more contrast rather than less , the orange will become more prominent. What color is your exterior?

Yeah, you're right! Mine is black with piano black trim. I would need an advice, what will suit to the maritim trim better, don't think the cognac colour, which I like a lot will suit well.

But black is too boring imo.

I think the best color, which will suit to maritim trim will be beige or white, but it's so unpractical

And white/beige would also suit to atlantis blue exterior colour.

Nick, let me know if you're selling your piano black trim. I've been looking for a set for a long time now...

Gosh the craftsmanship is top notch. Wouldn't go with that color and would want to know that airbag(s) still perform as intended. Excellent work though.

Good to see you posting again Nick.

I think the right blue would look awesome, with some black leather in some area---mono may be too much. I'm trying to remember as I can't--- if there was a maritime knob. I do recall when I considered the maritime, there was a piece of 2 that they did not make, which would offset it.

Then again, I was not doing a full blown interior upholstery as well

I don't know the hue of maritime trim. It could be a blue red, yellow etc. The hue is important to how well the rest of the interior will coordinate. The hue of the blue exterior should also be considered. I suggest getting samples of interiors colors you like along with the maritime trim and hold them against the blue exterior. Be sure to do so in both shade and sun--only use natural light. My guess is cognac would look great and very rich. Usually it is very close to a black brown which is neutral to other colors. Lighter browns to beige are good to test. Generally speaking, the lighter the color the more difficult it can be to get that rich look and the greater darker colors will contrast--be more noticeable.
