Then again, I was not doing a full blown interior upholstery as well
The maritim shift knob is regular mahagoni one - without stripes

And here's the whole avalible maritim trim -

@J.Belknap thank you for the kind words - actually I wanted to post much more, but as I said, I had to fight against german automotive registration authorities and to fulfill my idee fixe with that damn pulleys for tooth belt for supercharger drive and that took so much time!

@four.8is sure, I will!

Be sure to do so in both shade and sun--only use natural light. My guess is cognac would look great and very rich. Usually it is very close to a black brown which is neutral to other colors. Lighter browns to beige are good to test. Generally speaking, the lighter the color the more difficult it can be to get that rich look and the greater darker colors will contrast--be more noticeable.
You're right, I love cognac leather so much, but it does not go well with maritim trim, but with black piano trim, which I already have. The option with cognac (or other brownish leather) will save me lots of money.

We'll see, I imagine all white leather interior with maritim trim or cognac/orange leather with piano black panels.

Good craftsmanship for sure. However; I believe I would always feel like I was bathing in mustard.

I''m with you. I have had black interior on every vehicle for many years. Now I only look at vehicles that offer cognac interior.

That's insane. I'd love to do my interior like that in a different form. Hats off to the owner and fabric guy.

A little much for me, but beautiful workmanship. That mustard yellow is an acquired, Teutonic, taste

Good to see you posting again Nick.
I'm with you re the airbag. Looks like it would have to rip through the stitching and would most likely blow out somewhere else.

I would love a leather wrapped dash, center console, and door card. The work looks top notch. With that being said, I think the color is terrible. I think that if they did the seats, door car inserts, and arm rest lid in that color with everything else being black it might look pretty good.
