4.8is high pitch electronic noise
I am trying to work out what is making this noise. https://youtu.be/ej5pAgprIQs Is it normal? Is it an actuator going bad?..I have had my battery drain on me several times and I have noticed this sound keeps going even after I have switched off the car. I think it is not allowing the car to go to sleep. I recently had her front legs in the air and this noise was constantly going on as soon as i dropped her the noise stopped. I do have a front passenger side leak but I doubt this is related. The car seems to be running a test every 30-60 seconds. I don't get any error codes. Please help. I got a 3500 mile trip in October that I want to do with her so hopefully this is not too serious.

That noise normally only happens for me if i have the key in the ON position (not started) and after its been there for a minute or two. I believe that is the valvetronic checking its stopping points for the valve lift and calibration...
Do you have inpa software or any SES codes? Maybe you can try clearing the calibrations in inpa, and then relearning it. On the other hand it almost seems the car isnt going to sleep as you say and thinks the key or something of the sort is still in and the electrics are active causing it to run through the calibration/check.
