If you don't want to deal with coding issues, then:
- Remove the LKM - Open it up and post some photos here, perhaps we can spot the defective chip. Then you simply buy the chip online and solder it in. For now, re-install the LKM back and simply unplug the high beams for now.

Update definitely an LCM issue. When i revealed it from the kick panel carpet, i can see the metal casing of the LCM bulged out, clearly where it shorted out.
Now my next challenge and I have searched for it, how do i get the LCM out? I see there's two bolts holding it in, and three wiring harnesses plugged into it. What panels do i have to remove to access the top bolt and is there any tricks to disconnecting the wiring harness? |
