SOLVED! Removing overhead console with Ultrasonic Sensor
I'm trying to fix my ultrasonic sensor but couldn't remove the two screws towards the rear. I've removed the other screws behind the vanity lights - closer to the rear view mirror. Are there suppose to have screws there where the ultrasonic sensor is located? Pics courtesy by Crystalwork on another thread.

I believe that panel should just pop right out. Use a small flat head to gently pry down the top leftish corner until it starts coming apart and then gently pull down

^What they said.
1. Pop out front courtesy light/map lights. 2. Reach up and in to pop out homelink module as shown in pic 3. Reach through homelink hole to pup out sonic alarm module Easy peazy. If you are trying to drop the whole thing, then you can remove the screws to drop the whole panel. There are 4 screws there as shown in the pic, but only 2 are necessary to remove for console removal. It's the ones under the sonic module I think. The front ones do the job of holding 2 parts of the console together if memory serves.

Are you trying to remove #24 or #5? I believe #24 houses the two sensors and if that's what you are trying to remove it definitely just snaps out, no screws. Not sure about #5 though.

I give up #@%!
I've removed the map light - sunroof switch - mic - sos - homelink .....still no go! This roof console is just too hard and wouldn't budge! Maybe.......leave it...... and tackle it on another day.
