Please Help!! Transmission Code: Pressure Regulator EDS 5

Somebody on this forum has to have had this happen to them where their X5 goes into Transmission Failure Safe mode and stays in 3rd gear with an error code of Pressure Regulator EDS 5. The shop I took it to cleared the code, turned the vehicle back on and without moving it, the code popped up again so it's definitely electronic.

Any links or ideas on what I can do to possibly fix this would definitely help.
