Passanger door dont lock.

Hello, Just bought myself a 2002 BMW X5 3.0d, also new to this forum :-)

I bought my car with some issues (got it dirt cheap!) All of the issues is repaired accept for one I can't figure out..

The front passenger door does not lock with keyfob, all other do. If I lock the door manually (by pressing down the lock pin) the door will unlock with keyfob like all other doors, just doesn't lock.

The door mirror on that same side doesnt flip downwards when I put the car in reverse.

I've checked the wiring loom going from chassis to door for cracks/broken wires, but all looks just fine.

The window switch works, LED inside doorhandle works, the light on the underside of the door works, adjusting the mirror from driverside works.

Any suggestions on where I should look next?

EDIT: The door did lock with the keyfob and the mirror did flip downwards when I got the car. I Had the same lock problem on driverside rear door, but that got fixed after repairing some broken wires in the loom.

Switch the mirror switch on the driver side to the driver side mirror. The passenger side mirror will dip when you put it in reverse. You probably need to replace the door actuator for the passenger side door.

Haha, of course! I feel so smart right now...

Yea, I was thinking It might be the actuator, but dosnt the problem also apply to unlocking the door?
