BMW X5 recall on brake booster

Soooo.......BMW USA won't repair the braking system on my 2006 4.8is ,I hope if more people file a complaint with NHTSH , they might be forced to , There is a open recall on the 2007 BMW X5 manufactured the same year [2006] with the brake booster and vacuum pump and tube that leaks ,but not the 2006 made 3 months earlier...........
Honestly these car are made like crap..................not feeling the love any more..............

And you're certain this is the exact same part from the E53 to E70?

What exactly is the problem with the boosters? When did yours break? If recently, then it seems the booster lasted 9 years. Seems reasonable to me.

I've never even heard of this being an issue with the e53... but then again I've only been in the community for a year as well, so it's definitely possible I missed it.

No You are right, I agree, but they [BMW]are replacing the vacuum pump, brake booster and the vacuum tube going to the booster because when it goes, meaning You have NO BRAKES ,there is No Warning Light to let You know that You are in trouble.
But only on E70 that where made in 2007-2010 , the 2007 where made in 2006 ,2 months after mine was made, and are the same parts and same problem.

Hi only on v8 engines ,has something to do with the way they route the vacuum tube through the engine bay.

Gotcha. Have yours gone already? If not are there upgraded part numbers that can be installed so that this is not a problem in the future? I might be interested in installing the upgraded components just so I wouldn't have to worry about something like that happening.

Can you like to an e53 that has had this happen?

As I said, I've never heard of that in an e53... anyone here ever have that happen? Maybe it's just an e70 thing for some reason? I realize the parts are the same, but maybe it has something to do with mounting or??? I'm not standing up for BMW here... I just want to know if this is something I should think about or not.
