REMOVAL OF DIPSTICK 4.4i

Hi Folks, I am in the middle of a vanos seal, timing chain guide, and valley pan replacement DIY. I've removed the lower timing cover by slightly bending the dipstick (ah goo goo goo goo) out of the way.

I do not want to put the lower case back on with that dipstick in the way. Any suggestions on removing it, or what techniques if any did you folks use putting that lower case back on with the dipstick (ah goo goo goo goo) in the way.

A diligent search on this forum yields some results, but nothing useful/

Thanks in advance for any tips!
