Is coding easier with BMW Scanner 1.4 as opposed to NCSExpert? I already have the Romanian software suite

The user interface is much easier with PA Soft 1.4 but it is limited compared to NCS Expert. I have both. One thing the PA Soft allowed really easily was the LCM EEPROM programming of the VIN and mileage to match my cluster and clear the tamper dot when I upgraded to a C36 SW4.0 unit to get the triple blink feature. But I use NCS Expert to enable all those functions like brake force display, euro double impulse hazards and triple blink (which I have now programmed as 5 blinks). PA Soft has a little easier functionality and it is the first program I open and check when coding something and at under $30.00 for module and cable, it should be in everyone's tool box. It has its advantages for sure.

^^Can you pm me on how to code the triple blink turn signal feature? Something I always wanted to program on mine with NCS Expert but I have no clue how to do it or what lines to look for! I also have a few things I want to code that I forgot about a few years back -

Sounds like I am good to go with my Romanian suite but thank you for letting me know -

Ricky Bobby, I am not sure the E53 has this option. My E46 needed a 2006 LCM to get the CYCL_TI_BLK parameter. I just looked in my daten files for the E53 and the latest LCM I have is C24 and I don't see that parameter in the list. Let me do some digging, I would love to program this on my E53 too.
