Not sure what to do about. I cant open my Door! HELP!!

So I have a big problem I think. My driver door is stuck closed. The FOB wont unlock driver door anymore. It was kinda working I just had to try a few times, then it stopped working and I was using the actual key entry. Now it just turns 180° and does nothing and feels completely free like nothing is catching inside.

Someone said My problem is the key barrel is broke and my door lock actuator. Sound right? Also hell the do I do the repair job if my door is locked shut?! Im screwed?

Yeah, this topic has come up numerous time on the forum.

Owners need to have BOTH remote keys (both operational), and when the door handle fails, fix it ASAP.

Those who choose otherwise run the risk of being locked out.

I recall a member PMing someone with the solution on getting in.

When both remote keys are available, when one dies the other can be used to unlock or roll down windows.

I mentioned the handle, should have said handle/cyl assembly.

Its not the keys. Its the dock lock actuator. The car locks and unlocks just the driver side is stuck locked as I wrote in the first post.

You should be able to push the key remote unlock button twice (unlocks all doors), get in the passenger side, then pull the driver door inside handle TWICE (the 2nd pull will MECHANICALLY unlock the drivers door).

I recall a member here removing the inner door panel when faced with that situation.

Major PITA!
