The lifespan is awesome! I have it on my winter set. Its been on there for 2 whole seasons without any sign of peeling. Pretty impressive...

Yeah I hear good things like 2-3 years plus even with heavy driving in the elements. It's basically rubber pretty cool. I'd pay $35/wheel any day instead of doing myself again!!!

Probably wouldn't stand up to changing tires though huh?

Oh well, I have plenty of meat on these Nittos, and swap wheels for winter.

I'll give it a shot, thanks guys!

Yeah... The lip will peel, but you can just touch them up.

Must depend on the operator and/or the tire machine. I bought 4 new tires at local Discount Tire. There was a very small nick of the Plasti-coat at the bead on one. Not sure they did it or not but I just followed the repair process and it is as good as new. Plastic-coat has some Youtube videos on how to apply and repair the material.

Good to know yeah I would assume its relatively easy to touch up using any number of techniques.

I plan on being super anal about mine and is why i got the tires re-balanced by a really good shop when i had the TPMS put in. Tires are only 2 seasons old now and I really I don't drive the truck much outside of winter (not insured) since I have 2 other cars and 2 motorcycles So she'll continue to be on light duty maybe getting groceries occasionally to stretch her legs.

Final coat going on the front barrels right now. I dripped all over the face of one of them last night and was able to shoot a little fresh dip on top to blend the texture. Stuff is definitely forgiving!!!

I think I am going to do my red 300ZX Twin Turbo in Gold + Metalizer.

Looks mean! Now drop it on some springs or BC coilovers

Thought about lowering springs in front Is there anything affordable aftermarket? Eibach? I don't really want to get into replacing shocks or anything else.

I'd reprogram the rear air springs to sit lower.

How low do most people go? Will it affect towing? Should handle way better right? Clearance won't be an issue?
