The "yellow" stripes are actually blonde wood strips inlaid into the dark wood.

This trim actually looks like the wood deck on a high end yacht.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
Honestly although the Maritime trim is super rare I would either complete the full set or go back to the Titan trims it originally came with - the 2-trim scheme looks off to me -

Obviously if you aren't big on Maritime maybe it could be sold? You'd probably easily find Titan trims to complete your set for the sale of 1-2 Maritime pieces.

Wow LeMans Blue 4.6iS with a 4.8iS front end and facelift conversion? Definitely rare work done.

+1 RB.

When I was looking at Maritime trim it was FULL set or nothing. Even the roof handles are part of the package.

That facelift front end would have me checking chassis/vehicle history for significant front collision damage.

That facelift swap is SERIOUS cash, most owners don't drop coin of that magnitude for a slight update in looks, they trade up to the newer model.

@TiAg: I think you are right.
It looks even darker than the common "Estorial Blue" BMW (mostly e39) I know... Maybe the whole car was painted in a different color (looks like "Le Man Blue" to me)?

The car was painted, my uncle got his 4.8is rear ended so he swaped the front fachia to the 4.6is and since he liked le man blue he also painted the car( wish he kepet the original color).....

I understand
Le Man Blue is a really nice color - and as far as I see the painting was done really good (inner door trim aso.)
