Cancelled out air bags system and now riding low on coilover dampering suspension. Just a though one, I love the 4.8 but just seems like there's always something bound to go wrong on these trucks lol.
Okay so your vehicle is clean car from a no accident perspective, Why in the world would you want to sell the interior out of this vehicle not just sell it outright. Every 4.8is is gonna need the valve seal repair at some point and this shouldn't dissuade a potential customer that knows a thing or two about these X5s. With your color combination you should just sell it outright. What kind of mileage do you have on the X5?

Truck just hit 80,000 miles not even at 81,000 yet I don't even drive it just on weekend so I've poured around $3000-4000 already in the past 2-3 years and yes I know of the valve seal repair but to spend another $1,500-$2000 out of my pocket and fix it but knowing that from now on its still good to be needing repairs just damm makes me upset. She's my girl but I think she's just too expensive. Idkkk I look at her and just makes me feel good but I know that she isn't the best decision to make finantially for me at least. Trading it I'm not really getting much so I don't want to give her always either.

First the 4.6is and now the 4.8is 😔

If thinking of selling the truck privately, shoot me a PM as I know someone looking for a 4.8is currently. He's not a fan of silver, but the interior and rest of the truck might make up for that depending on your asking price.

Value wise, agreed on leaving the vehicle the way it is for the sale. Personally though, I'd love to have a red interior to go with my imola exterior. Not sure what cost would be, but I'd pick up a set in decent condition for ~$800 if I had the money lying around at the time.

Careful with swapping out the seats with another X. The seat buckle design was changed at a later date. An earlier seat belt buckle will not fit in a later seat receptacle, so it will be safe to say that a later date seat belt buckle will not fit in an earlier car.

Swapped a later date heated seat into my earlier X5 and everything went well until I went to buckle the seat belt. The earlier seat belt was too big to fit into the receptacle in the later date seats. Had to swap over the earlier buckle which mean the the you will have to switch over the electrical connector under the seat since it is attached permanently to the pyro charge in the receptacle. Later seats has a two piece covering on the back of the seat and earlier seat has a one piece covering.

Thanks for the info...

I assumed (probably foolishly) since these were both LCI trucks it would be okay. Will definitely be sure to check if purchasing an interior set.

Better bring some more $$$$, he has an ad in Chicago's Craiglist, and are you sitting down for this $3,000.00 for the interior.
