Thumbs down Feel your pain

Sorry to read this one. Matching that combo will be tough.

I feel your pain after replacing one wheel that cracked in a similar situation only to have my secondary driver (wife) curb both new front wheels 160 miles later. Could't have one new wheel on a X5 can we? Now I have two curbed wheels instead!

Now she will not drive it as she refuses to endanger more "Gucci" wheels.

Meanwhile I have two curbed wheels to refinish.....

Why is it someone can drive 100,000 miles and never curb a wheel and someone else can hit every curb in town?

I literally just fell out of my chair at '"Gucci" wheels'!

That sucks. I would check the classified section of this forum and see if there are any good deals on used OEM wheels... Those usually pop up every now and then. Good luck

Ive had wheels repaired. it works out really well. also, check with your insurance, quite often wheels can be covered under insurance claims. (pothole filled with water didn't see it, debris on the highway couldn't swerve to avoid etc.)
My brother inlaw had this problem with a set of rims, they bought him 4 new ones.
just a thought

So got the new wheels mounted and balanced. I like them a lot when I took them out of the box but they don't look as good as I'd hoped on the truck.
