Even with the door panel off I can't figure out how to get the door open. Will take to Indy this week.

Indy fixed it but didn't say how he got door open. $400 +

That's a trade secret. It will cost you another $400 if you want to know. Most likely he just pulled on the cable and the lock just opened. With the door card removed he probably took about 10 minutes to pop the door open.

I am in the same boat. Just bought the X5, replaced the door handle, locked it with the key and cannot get it to unlock. Fortunately, the door panel is off. Any suggestions appreciated.
