X5 COIL CONVERSION???

Anyone convert their old X5 3.0 rear air bag system only with a set of coil springs? I have HD Bilsteins all the way around and it rides nice and firm.
Do the coil springs create a softer/bouncier rear? Will it still handle well?
Currently riding around on deflated bags and it's OK.
Help.. need to fix this soon and make a decision. I found coils for 180. complete kit and the cancel out module is $249 to remove the dash light.
