Question on anyone equipped with DSP and using GROM
I would like to install GROM by removing cd changer and need to verify whether I need DSP conversion kit or not. On the back of cd changer, there are 3 connectors but only 2 are being used. 1. 3 pin connector -> connected 2. 6 pin connector -> connected 3. SPDIF coax cable -> not being used From my understanding, since SPDIF connector is NOT used, I have "analog DSP", therefore I don't need DSP conversion kit. Is this correct?

I have DSP and have a GROM installed in my X. My X doesn't have the Nav screen, just the MID. I used the DSP converter because my X didn't have the 6 pins connector. The DSP converter is used in conjunction with the coaxial cable that is connected to the DSP amp.
