You're not missing anything with no 3.0i's there lol!

I'd much rather have a facelift 3.0d like yours.

I drove a few and they feel a lot more responsive with the torque, and official specs show the same performance as the gas I6 with better economy.

Wow, so the "iS" is rare there huh? Didnt know that.

O3X5 is on a distinguished road
full kit it is thanks. it's something i need to do asap either way. on cold startup it takes a few seconds for it to engage from park to drive & on hills going up it doesn't shift out of 3rd. other than that it shifts fine so i'm hoping new fluid/filter plus lucas will do the trick.

Yeah always start with a trans service to see if that is the remedy. Its the least inexpensive fix in many cases before going deeper into malfunctioning parts.

Just FYI... when you remove the old filter, it's likely that one (sometimes both) of the orange sealing rings will remain stuck in the trans body. Be sure to fish these out before installing the new filter.

yep that part is also in the tutorial thanks. just wish i could do this on a lift instead of jack stands
