A few Questions..

Few questions...

1. Does anyone know if the nav discs have changed for NY, i use my car in buffalo for school and it doesent seem to pick up any of the streets in the entire city. However it works fine in most other places. I have the cd nav not the dvd, and was wondering if you have to switch to dvd, or if there is a simpilar solution like downloading a new disc.

2. I have this plastic piece hanging from just below my front bumper that seems to be some type of plastic under body spoiler/ protection plate. Does anyone know what this is, and where i can get a replacement. I looked for a part number and couldnt find it.

3. Does anyone know of a good shop to have do some mods, in western new york. I doubt it, since even the dealer is completely incompitant up here. They argued with me for 30 minutes on the phone that my OEM aero kit was aftermarket till i finally went in and showed them the bmw labels on every part.

4. I was thinking about lambo doors and was wondering if anyone has done this mod, or knows of it being done to an x5.

5. And lastly, to add to my dealer troubles, I brought my car home to long island this past weekend to have Competition BMW, the dealer down there do some tuneups. Well not only did they charge me $967 to flush my brake lines, change my oil, and just look at my suspension since the self level susp inactive warning came on, but they also hit something with my front end!
After i got home with the car i went to give her a bath and noticed that the plastic bumper insert for the aero kit that covers the front tow hooks was missing and the remaining center one was dented with red paint on it! The dealer claims they dont know anything about it. Anyway now i need to find this piece as well.

Thanks for your help,
Zola

1. You have an old release of the Navigation CD. Time to purchase an upgrade disc. Try eBay or NavTeq (www.navteq.com).
2. You're probably referring to the underbody guard/cover.

Sorry, can't help with the rest of the questions.
