Interior Light wiring?

G'day
Can anybody tell me is the feed to the interior light
which comes on when the door opens a Positive or
negative switching to activation.

Not 100% sure but in general, body is gorund (-ve). You can (if u have 1) test it with a multi meter and observe the needle for +ve flip or -ve flip.

In most older cars the + power is fed to the light and the light is activated by contacting ground with the door switch. But with modern auto electronics and intelligent lighting all bets are off. I have to ask, why do you need to know?

It`s negative switched, there`s always a +12v at the lights, I`ve tapped in to mine. there`s also a dimmed line which you shouldn`t tap into.
