I've used this stuff: https://www.amazon.com/Malco-BRAKE-O.../dp/B002QCM512

It works well. Took years of baked on brake dust off quite easily. Use it periodically before going to the car wash. Just spray on and hose off.

You came in here just to re-post the link you just edited in the first post? And you bumped a thread for no other reason than hoping for a few extra views. Can we get this guy banned or???

Some of your videos are helpful, emphasis on some, but most are short videos with no substance. See how Propellerhead posted nice pictures with before and after... that helps the members of this forum. If you want to advertise here, which is what you are doing, become a forum sponsor.

All of the video embedding changed recently so the posts were blank. Yes, I came in to edit the posts and replace the links which takes a lot of time. Bumping a thread is not against any rule, and I have put a lot of time and effort into creating a channel that helps fellow owners. No time for your negativity here.

Sorry. I agree with the others. Using the membership here for YT hits is advertising. Bumping threads may not be against rules, but it is annoying and that is no secret. The quality of content bares itself. You simply changed the embedded links to make your hits accessible again without adding substance. To suggest an altruistic effort beyond your own desire for hits seems disingenuous.

Writing up a proper DIY, taking photos, or videos if you desire also takes A LOT of time. It took 2 weeks to writeup my Avin Avant install DIY PDF before finally posting it and a link to the download. I am still in the process of doing a DIY for opening the permaseal headlights... and that is almost a year in the making now due to life obligations.

I have monetized YT videos as well, but I don't shill them on the forum when I have not paid to be a forum sponsor. As Prop has stated, what you are doing is self serving and annoying.

Guys, my apologies for the annoying posting. Going forward I'll only post to replies/questions and when contributing new content. Thanks.

Personally I find some of the videos helpful. But I think one thread per video is a little excessive. Maybe consolidate them into one big DIY database thread?

As I said above, I agree, some of them are helpful. And a single thread with a DIY database would definitely be a better solution than a bunch of individual threads with a one or two sentence post followed by a YT link. However, it is still advertising... and the very least he could do is pay to be a subscribed member.

I don't like the idea of redirecting a forum member to information that could easily be provided in the thread with a DIY (in the case of some of these videos, a very short DIY). If you then want to also say, "if you want to watch a video associated with this repair... here is one I have on YT." I have zero problems with this approach.

I understand that everyone has a hustle and I certainly don't begrudge anyone trying to make some extra money (I've received Google Adsense checks as well from YT vids), but there is a way to do it that is beneficial to the community as well as being respectful to everyone else.
