Easy buddy, you're working yourself up a bit too much. Let's start over.

If you could describe what it is you're trying to achieve and where exactly (I know it's been mentioned but just to start clean again). We would be able to help/advice you fairly quickly. The members on this forum are experienced and extremely helpful, 99% of them have experience with fixing, changing or upgrading their lights so you've come to the right place.

Let's start over. Agreed?

Coming from the child who can't even buy the proper headlight bulb. Does mom & dad know you're messing with their car?

Coming from the guy who's signature states that you inherited your car.

Yep, inherited as in receive (money, property, or a title) as an heir at the death of the previous holder.

Not given by mommy & daddy as in your case, clearly. Might as well give up here lil kid

I haven't seen those "LED fogs" for sale in an amber color temp yet. I had been looking to put some in the mainbeams of my MKV Jetta with worthless DRLs to avoid chaining bulbs every month. Seems like those are all 6000k no matter what bulb format they are.

I have aftermarket housings in that car that use H1, so I specifically look for that. I'd rather 4300k, as 6000k sounds like a terrible idea for a place that actually has tons of fog.

Also, OP's stucco backing grille mesh is strong. Does it rust?

Strong yes. It's galvanized and I've yet to see any rust.

I'm doing that. And if you find a quality LED fog bulb in 3200K or less, post it up. I need them for two cars, at least.
