Fog Up Question

Getting the odd Monsoon up here in Vancouver and my windshield keeps fogging up...seems to be primarily on the drivers side. Obviously I can get this to go away in a hurry by putting the defrost on and/or cracking the window a bit... I was wondering if anyone knows of another solution that won't entail me getting wet while suffering heat stroke from the seemingly supercharged defrost system these X's have.

Is there some kind of spray for the glass or anything like that?

If it is fogging primarily on your side, it must be you! LOL

You can direct air to the winshield without having to use the kill feature aka defroster. Up arrow on the climate controls will blow windshield air at whatever temp/speed you choose. I find splitting the air between up and dash keeps me pretty fog free in the rain.

Press the snowflake button - that will dry the air out. You'll be amazed at how well it works - at any temp you have it set to.

I have tried that. I have my arrows on the same setting as you but it doesnt seem to help much.

Yes, Jay is right on...I musta missed that you didn't have the snowflake, (A/C) button on.

That will nail it; just adjust temp to your liking.

I like this idea as well. If I were to use a spray I would prefer some gold old vinegar as opposed to a plethora of chemicals. Thanks!

And you can just drink whatever's left over! I love vinegar!!!

Remember you can adjust the vents to blow air in the direction you want. Start with the simple fix first, then go onto other things if it does not meet your expectations. Too often the simplest thing is overlooked.
