I did have once this problem when I could not take off those lights! I thought is is angle sensor, but it was toe! We change tyres twice a year and we have to correct toe...after some time toe can come 'wrong' and angle sensor could not read the steering wheel correctly! It can go wrong after hit against pedestrian pat way if u understand what I mean! It is just an example@
