Back again.

Hi

I have been away from here for a few year battling cancer. Back now and feeling good, thanks to the wonderful doctors and medical teams at St Thomas's & London Bridge Hospitals in London.

I just bought a low miles E53 4.8is in Metallic Black and Creme Leather with 20" alloys. The car is very clean and smooth and appears to have been well loved.

I had some paint correction and repairs done on the usual car park dings and painted the calipers in fizzy yellow. Managed to upgrade the Nav to V32 (with some hassle) using my Macbook but struggling with ebay and dodgy map discs (two now have failed immediately, with "no disc installed"). Still looking for a good, up to date, map disc.

Loving the V8 noise. I'm not sure if the exhaust has been modifed? (it crackles and pops on the overrun). I would like more of this ;^)

Glad to be back.

Bruce
