Fan Shroud Hose Brackets

On the fan shroud, on the side facing the engine, there are 4 hose "holder" plastic brackets that, well, hold the hose in place and prevent it from moving forward and smacking the serpentine belt.

Mine have all hardened and snapped off over the years.

I called BMW and their answer of course is that those little $2-$3 clips are not available and you have to buy an entire new shroud at $400+

Does anyone have a source for these clips? They press into the shroud. For now, I am just using a loose zip tie, but such a tie can cut into the hose if it is worried enough.

Good day!

I would say we just need to figure out what brackets sizes are on the shroud and locate some alternatives elsewhere around the engine bay... Like this smaller one for the air purge at the top of the top radiator hose... It might work for at least one of the hoses that runs in front of the shroud!

Good luck!!!

Cheers!!

Good idea, unfortunately these seem to be rather unique in the engine bay... I'm going to the parts store tomorrow to see if I can find something similar in the "help" section.
