Replica Wheels

I'm not sure about all of the identification on the back, but you're already ahead of my replica 87's. Mine say BWM instead of BMW

That is classic! Definitely keepers.

Also looking carefully at the real vs fake ones, you can see that all the characters are clearer and much better aligned on the real ones.

Don't know if this will help determine the authenticity of your wheels, mine say made in Austria...

These rims are in a quite good shape with only one tiny chip and about an inch long scuffed line on a finish.
That's why I want to figure out if they are genuine,so I can finally let me think about keeping them.

Imo, the wheels are legit BMW oem...
My Style 69s that came on our '01 were made in Italy.
The Style 57s I ran with winter tires were made in Italy.

The markings around the hub are either OEM/legit or some mfg has gone to great lengths to dupe the usual legit hub markings.
My 50Cts...

They are OEM.

Got all the OEM goodie tell tales / markings. But those BWM replicas are always funny.

BMW does have some suppliers in Italy. Even for F10 wheels

I need to part ways with my set, if anyone's interested. I traded my '01 E53 for a CPO and have no need for E53 stuff in my garage. PM me if interested.
