2004 Transmission issue? Maybe?!

Good day all!!

Well, I'm starting to run out of things to replace with the original E53 to the family over a year ago... Here is the story...

2004 4.4L sport purchased for $2000... Bad motor...

Rebuilt motor and it is still going strong...

Trans failsafe after it warmed up... Swapped out the Mechatronic unit and programmed it...

Not going to failsafe anymore, but not right... Seems like wrong programming... The trans would shift fast from 1st to 2nd under less than half throttle... Over half would confuse the computer and it would shift into 2nd, but abruptly go back into 1st and nearly tach out the motor...
Programmed the trans computer and EGS (mechatronic module) again... Still has the exact same issue... I'm thinking okay, maybe it's a pressure thing in the transmission giving false info...

Swapped the trans and put good fluid in it... LG6!!! Reset the engine and trans and out for a test drive... Not only is it NOT better, it is EXACTLY the same, as if I didn't swap the trans... So, I have a perfectly good trans for a 4.4L in my garage... Just sayin!!!

I swapped out the TCM with my other 2004 and have again, no change whatsoever!! I pulled the DME and found corrosion on the pins... I cleaned the connectors and pins... and tried it once again... Still have the same exact situation...

It's not the fluid. It's not the mechatronic. It's not the trans. It's not the valve body. It's not the TCM... It might be the DME, but I couldn't swap that without programming the EWS and key... I've swapped pedal assemblies with my 2006 in an attempt to clear a code in the 2006, which ended up being a crank sensor issue...

So, could it be the corrosion on the DME pins?! I'm not even sure how it got corrosion in there to begin with... Would the DME cause shifting issues?! Keep in mind, the issue is only at almost WOT (full throttle)... And for some reason, the X5 thinks WOT means the trans needs to stay in 1st gear at all costs... If it isn't the DME, I'm looking at a wiring issue...

Thoughts?! I'm almost out of options, other than to part it out...

Thanks all!!!

Cheers!!
