That's one benefit of AGM; they don't self discharge nearly as fast as wet cell/lead acid batteries.

I spent 9mos working in Europe a while ago; my E46 fired right up when I returned.

Interesting, thanks for info, my hope is they charge up faster too on shorter trips cos I think that is my main issue, dont drive the x enough and over the space of a week the battery is sapped of juice...i charge it up with a ctek and off I go again for another week...this seems most prevalent now temps have dropped and am hoping the agm will charge to sufficient levels on my short trips compared to a normal wet battery

PS alt pumps pout 13.9-14.0 driving and also idle just a tad lower/& sleep mode draw is like 0.05amps
