XM question

Seirously looking into it. Does anyone know if the Xm Roady2 fits in the Ashtray Console? That seems a great place for it to be. Anyone has any pictures?
How is the sound quality on that gadget?

Sound quality for Satellite radio (both XM and Sirius) is mediocre. If you are a audiophile, do NOT expect CD quality. The stations are still compressed. I compare it to a 96Kbps MP3 file....

Its good enough in the car but I'd never listen to it over the home stereo...

Thanks Chris. I am just sick of all the commercials while on my way to work. Though it is a short drive, sometimes by the time a talk show is back from commercials I am parking in the garage.

Do you think the Roady2 will fit where I mentioned?

Mickey, XM is based in DC, they have gone overboard with repeaters around the city so the signal is strong, few drop outs, but as Chris said, the quality is not up to audiophile standards. The traffic channels are a nice feature around here if you hate Lisa Baden on WTOP.
